cowardly attack....

The word peace is a much forgotten word today. There is violence all around. Is violence the only way to get their demands done? Why don't they think of the innocent lives? Yesterday, a cowardly attack was done by maoists in West Bengal. Nearly 65 passengers in train were dead. Day by day, the attacks on civilians are increasing.
Why don't they get their demands done in a peaceful way.....??What are they going to gain from the lives of people..??If their demands are meaningful, why don't they approach the government directly...???? All remains a question mark to me.
Peace and progress are the two sides of same coin. Only when we have peace, we can have solace in our mind. Only when we have solace in our mind, our actions can revolutionize the society. When there is no peace in our country, how can we expect it to become a developed nation by 2020. It is all in the hands of young people.
We have to bear in our mind that violence is not the only way to achieve our demands. The fruits of violence are never sweet. Gandhiji inspired indians to achieve independence from british through non violence. If we had been violent, we would have still been as slaves of british. The fruits of non violence is sweet.

Let us all pray that our whole country is surrounded by peace in coming days...

yet another shameful exit for team india...

Team India’s horror show continues. And who’s to blame? Indian cricket team yesterday had a shameful loss to Zimbabwe. Many cricket fans believed that india would perform well after the disastrous show in ipl world cup 2010. But it was a big disappointment for indian fans. Earlier dhoni had blamed the late night parties for losing the world cup. But what is the reason he is going to point now? Winning and losing is a part of the game. But our indian cricket sports men are not playing with any winning attitude. They are much concerned with money making by engaging themselves in ads. Then where is the time to practice. An adage goes like this:"practice makes a man perfect".
Taking the case of yuvraj, he was in good form in cricket initially, but now he is in good form in acting. Fielding is much disappointing. The collision between yusuf and d
honi in world cup would have made chris gayle really elated .It led to the dropping of Gayle which summed up our Super 8 show. Today, we do not hear about cricket players winning any series, we only hear them being engaged with any ads or rumoured with any actresses.
Why has this situation ocurred? Who is to blame for? Is it the selectors or cricket players or the people ? Instead of blaming each other or giving lame reasons, it is high time for all of us to enrich our sports. Cricket players should have some patriotic feeling and play for the country and not for money. Cricket selectors must choose the palyers carefully. People should start giving importance to all games.
Let us all hope that indian players rejuvenate themselves and come in a good form in forthcoming matches.

vel piercing

Today I happened to visit murugan temple. Moreover today is vaikasi visagam. I am an atheist and i do believe in some superstitious beliefs.
While going by bike, I noticed people going to temple by walk with bare foot. and the thing that surprised me was many had their tongue pierced with vel(lance) which is considered to be murugan's weapon. Even children had themselves pierced. There is nothing wrong in worshiping god. But torturing oneself in the name of god is really cruel. Each one has a different opinion of the existence of god. I believe that there is some superpower which is guiding us and that is GOD. God is our first parent, every parent would wish their child to be good. The similar way is god. To make our wishes come true, we need not do such things(vel piercing).
Instead we can serve poor people by feeding them. They are the incarnation of god....
As youths, we should alarm the people, so that they stop doing these things in the name of god.
