Random Thought

Got my EVS exam completed yesterday. I was burning the midnight oil though I had couple of study holidays. EVS class was always a funny class. As it is a subject to be taught in primary level, we didn't care about this class. This exam is like "go, sit and write on the spot." Exam was over successfully and managed my time to see a film in the evening. Didn't saw it intentionally, was browsing over the channels and my eyes caught on the film. So started to see it.
Really enjoyed watching Tamil Padam.I didnt expect anything of it. Maybe because of no high expectation, I had an awesome time. Truly a hilarious movie. It actually mocks the stereotypical scenes in Tamil cinema. Some of the nuances which made me laugh in the film are:
  1. Male infanticide
  2. Director has hit the bull’s eye by casting the aging actors in the role of friends of heroes.
  3. Hero becoming a Billionaire in 5 minutes which all tamil cinema portray.
  4. Actor's classical dance piece.
  5. Some thugs started to fire at the heroine. But actor finds time to recover at the hospital, stop for a drink, slowly walk through town and finally save heroine - Note: All while the bullet is in motion.
  6. Traps and challenges set by the main thug in the climax.
  7. Climax in which hero would be set free  inspite of all the crimes he commited and also promoting him as DGP
This one actually requires you to keep your brains with you, if only to appreciate all the effort gone into making it. A brave new attempt. A film to watch to loosen up your nerves.
