Earth is our home and we should keep the Earth clean and help it survive against global warming. Everyone should care about the planet that we live on. Due to global warming glaciers are melting, sea levels are rising, and cloud forests are drying. The planet is heating up way too fast. Humans are the main reason for the climate to rise and we humans are the ones who released greenhouse gases into the ozone layer.
When we first learned to walk, we started out with baby steps, and going green starts out the same way. Going green doesn’t happen overnight. It takes time, and small commitments. Just stop to think about what you’re doing. By being healthier, we can help the environment. When we exercise, that’s less time we would’ve spent on something that wastes time, such as the computer. By eating healthier, we cut down on things that create toxic wastes when made or packaged. By using your own refillable water bottle, you can save up to $200 per year, and 14 lbs of plastic. Don’t take an ATM receipt, or a bag at the grocery store if you only buy a few items, or take your own reusable bag. When buying books, buy secondhand, or use the library, or share. About three billion new books are sold per year, requiring four hundred thousand trees to be chopped down as a result.
According to the ancient hymn from Bhumi Sukta, "We are birds of the same nest. Wearing different skins, speaking different languages, believing in different religions, and belonging to different cultures yet we share the same home, our earth. Born on the same planet, covered by the same skies, gazing at the same stars, breathing the same air, we must learn to progress happily together or miserably perish together. For humans can live individually but can survive only collectively. Indeed, the ancient texts seem to suggest that we all owe a responsibility to the environment not only for ourselves but also for the sake of those around us". Green Coalition Network is an independent non-governmental environmental advocacy organization that was informally founded in the year 2000. Green Coalition is dedicated to improving public health standards, protecting the environment and promoting sustainable development & ethical business.
They provide practical eco-friendly solutions that integrate long-term economic prosperity and sound social development, thereby bringing about real positive change. They implement this by influencing public opinion, building constructive partnerships with industry and the government and promoting community and corporate programs focused on youth & public participation.
